Donkey and Goat - The Gadabout (Roussane, Marsanne, Vermentino and Chardonnay) - California Founded in 2004 by UziDonkey and Goat are a husband and wife team of natural winemakers from Berkeley whose unfiltered, no additives and minimally sulfured wines are somewhat hazy but never veer into the cidery, beery or just plain vinegary zones that so many natural wines fall into. These wines do present a touch of nuttiness and ginger that are characteristic of natural winemaking but these are just background accents to the full flavors of the fruit.
