A really wonderful vintage late 1930s or 1940s American toque style hat from 'Ames & Brownley

the most apparent are arrowed - some of the waistcoat buttons are a bit loose - a few marks to the trouser linings & marks to the waistband where they have been taken in & subsequently let out again

all shown in close-ups - some marks & discolouration to the lining

Vintage Mens 1940s Burton CC41 Double Breasted Overcoat Rust Brown Wool Tweed DB Belted 38" herringbone Bust approxA fantastic vintage 1940s CC41 Utility Scheme labelled overcoat, made by 'Montague Burton' from a thick, hairy tweed wool cloth akin to Harris but not labelled as such in a rare & beautiful rust or ginger brown colour. Cut in a classic double breasted style with broad lapels, 6 x 3 horn effect button fastening, medium padded shoulders, 2 flapped lower pockets, & matching belt with leather covered buckle. Fully lined with taupe rayon twill fabric, with
