SOI did this well, but EMN is on another level, with the enabling cardssuch as Noose Constrictor or Exultant Cultistbeing both interesting in their own right and instructive to newer players on how to combo cards together to better effect
It also does nothing to distinguish itself from the other dozen counter-focused Selesnya commanders
This deck embraces variance, playing cards sight-unseen from the top of the deck, flipping coins, and otherwise injecting additional randomness into the game
