It uses a dualspectrum optical smoke sensor and thermistors to detect both smouldering and fastflame fires. The RB variant uses replaceable CR123A batteries and can operate standalone (builtin siren) or as part of an Ajax security system via the Jeweller radio protocol. Dualspectrum (visible + IR) optical smoke sensor for improved falsealarm rejection.
