Georgian Ivory Handled Sidesaddle Whip - for UK sale only - w1457 sept25 army contractorThis fine whip has a curved ivory handle. It is antique, so can be legally sold in the UK but would be very difficult to export. It has four silver collars along its length in the Georgian or early 19th Century style (see the image of a Georgian whipmaker's trade card below). The first collar is engraved with some initials possibly "HC"The shaft of the whip is covered with finely braided thread and there is a raised spiral pattern under the braiding
