Put it all together and we get this: Time Stamps : Match 1 - 00:08:05 Match 2 - 00:39:57 Match 3 - 00:59:51 Match 4 - 01:25:15 Match 5 - 01:41:56 Mono-Black Devotion | THB Standard | Jim Davis Creatures (28) 2 Cavalier of Night 2 Woe Strider 4 Ayara, First of Locthwain 4 Gray Merchant of Asphodel 4 Gutterbones 4 Murderous Rider 4 Nightmare Shepherd 4 Yarok's Fenlurker Instants (2) 2 Disfigure Enchantments (2) 2 Dreadhorde Invasion Artifacts (2) 2 Bolas's Citadel Lands (26) 21 Swamp 1 Witch's Cottage 4 Castle Locthwain Sideboard (15) 1 Legion's End 2 Deathless Knight 4 Duress 2 Midnight Reaper 2 Noxious Grasp 2 Epic Downfall 2 Tymaret, Chosen from Death While we faced off against two pretty awesome decks we weren't necessarily prepared for, the power of the deck was on full display
This lets you get around counterspells, play creatures at instant speed and even surprise opponents with blockers at the last second
We include creatures that have an ability that triggers when they enter the ring
Plus, getting anything isn't as beneficial as you might think, since most of the cards you want to tutor for are instants or sorceries anyway, and with the easy mana available in older formats, it just makes more sense to play Burning Wish or Cunning Wish if you really want to make use of your sideboard
