Orca Balsa Ornament balsa-whimsical It is called “arribada” orOrcas are very social and live in families called "pods." Each pod has its own specific language. The "killer" whale name comes from the fact that orcas will eat just about anything. Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand carved and then painted with non toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua. Approximate size: 5" x 2".
