The way the amethyst, quartz and sepiolite take turns expressing themselves in zones throughout the piece gives it quite a remarkable aesthetic. The entire backside of the piece is imprinted with a key, and towards the bottom of the piece there are multiple terminations that express amethyst coloring at the tips.
